Next month (September 2022) will see The Grand welcome The Burnt Chef Project to York when they host a charity dinner in support of this fantastic cause. The Burnt Chef Project was launched in 2019 with the intention of eradicating any stigma around mental health issues in hospitality, a hugely important issue within the industry.
Taking place in The Cookery School at The Grand, The Dinner will be hosted by Kris Hall, founder of The Burnt Chef Project. Also present will be Head Chef Ahmed Abdalla from new fine dining restaurant, Legacy at The Grand, York and aspiring chefs from Doncaster College to make sure this is as memorable and enjoyable as it is worthy.
Attendees will be treated to canapés and an arrival drink before settling into a full seven course tasting menu for only £50 per person with the added satisfaction of knowing that all profits will go towards such a worthy charity.
