If you’re local to Leeds you may have noticed a large pink bus taking up residency on Briggate for the last day or two, conspicuous enough in itself but even more so when you start to register all the porcine details decorating it. I was asked by the Pork Lovers Tour to go over and see what all the fuss was about so hopped on a train earlier today to investigate.
It didn’t take long to spot the large, brightly coloured bus in the centre of town and be invited inside while being handed a comedy snout on a stick that I may, or may not, take a selfie with at some point. The bus is kitted out with a cooking area and a variety of activities to sample for both kids and adults. I’ll go into more depth about what I got up to on the bus in a future post when I’ve a little more time but I definitely recommend getting yourself along to check it out while you can.
Today is the last day that you can find the bus in Leeds before it heads to Manchester for a two day stint tomorrow prior to making it’s way back onto the continent. Having already covered London, Sheffield and Edinburgh you can’t accuse these guys of skimping on the distance while completing the UK leg of their tour! Look out for a follow up post to hear more in the near future and check out https://www.porkloverstour.com for more information.
