The Harewood Food & Drink Project’s flagship event “Hidden Harewood” returns this August and September after more than a year away.
The event will run over four nights from Thursday 29th, Friday 30th, Saturday 31st August with two sittings per night at 6.30pm and 7.30pm and with a new sitting added on Sunday 1st September at 6.30pm due to high demand for places.
Each sitting will see groups of up to 25 guests being wined and dined around some of the Capability Brown designed landscapes secret corners.
Tickets cost £85 per person. This includes a nine course tasting menu served across multiple locations around the Harewood Estate and a welcome drink upon arrival.
Hidden Harewood was launched in August 2017 and saw diners enjoy a multi- course, multi-location feast around some of the sprawling Harewood estates “Hidden” corners, many of which had never been open to the public before.
For previous events, they have converted rustic hunting lodges, follies, old arch barns and picturesque al fresco locations in to fine dining establishments for the night, so expect more of the same this time round.
The menu will be designed around what’s at its best coming out of the estate. So, expect a seasonal contemporary fine-dining menu from one of the norths top talents in HF & DP Executive Chef, Josh Whitehead.
Eddy Lascelles Director of the Harewood Food & Drink Project said:
“We’re so excited to be bringing back our flagship event “Hidden Harewood”. It’s been a while since we’ve had one so the team can’t wait to see how our guests react to Josh’s food and to some of the locations we’ll be using.
We’ve been blown away by the popularity of the event and the huge demand for tickets so we’ve added an additional sitting for up to 25 on Sunday 1st September at 6.30pm. This means even more people can taste Josh’s food and enjoy it in the stunning scenery of the estate.
We like to keep things very informal at our events and we like to use some of Harewood’s stunning outdoor settings so we advise guests to forget about formal dining, bring a sense of adventure and a pair of wellies! We like to do things a bit differently here”
